The Special Police Officers @ Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington DC Vote Unanimously to Join LEOSU-DC

Washington DC - 1/19/18 - The Special Police Officers working at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington DC unanimously voted to become the newest members of the Law Enforcement Officers Security Unions LEOSU-DC family today.

The election today by these Special police officers working at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington DC is the first win of the 2018 year and comes on the heels of another big victory at the Gaylord National Resorts & Convention center in Maryland.

LEOSU-DC Organizing Director Steve Maritas noted that the Omni Shoreham Hotel attempted to run a anti-union busting campaign from the onset of us filing our NLRB petition. However our guys were not fooled by all the propaganda and unanimously stood together as a unified group voting in favor of LEOSU-DC representation.

Once this election is certified by the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) the union will notify management that we are ready to bargain over wages, benefits and other conditions of employment.

We wish to welcome these. Omni Shoreham Hotel Special Police Officers into the LEOSU-DC famly.
