LEOSU-DC Attorney Grant Lally Discusses Bargaining Unit Proposals with Georgetown University Police Officer Roy Eddy

Washington DC, Georgetown University - On July 5th and 6th Georgetown bargaining unit committee members from both the main campus and law center met with Georgetown Universities management and their attorney to discuss our members demands. Leading negotiations was attorney Grant Lally from the law firm of Lally and Misir, LLP along with LEOSU-DC Organizing Director Steve Maritas. Presently the Union has 28 language proposals on the table of which 18 has been tentatively agreed upon.  


In addition to the language proposals the Union is seeking yearly percentage wage increase and longevity pay on behalf of all full-time and regular part-time Security Officers, Special Police Officers I and II, Master Police Officers, Investigators, and Communications Officers. Negotiations are set to resume on July 26 and July 27th.
