November 2, 2018

Washington DC - On November 1, 2018 the National Labor Relations Board NLRB has finally certified the results of the Catholic University of America election between the Law Enforcement Officers Security Unions LEOSU-DC and the International Union, Security Police & Fire Professionals of America spfpa. On 10/22/18 the Police Officers working @ Catholic University of America voted to decertify spfpa to join LEOSU-DC in yet another embarrassing  loss for spfpa. A few months ago the Police Officers working @ Georgetown University main campus as well as the Georgetown Law Center voted by a score of 40 to 10 against spfpa and in favor of LEOSU-DC Union representation. Each day more and more spfpa units are calling the LEOSU-DC in an effort to decertify spfpa as their representative. If you presently work at a shop where spfpa ispresently your collective bargaining agent and you wish to decertfy them, then please call the LEOSU-DC organizing department at 202-595-3510 and one of our representatives will be happy to meet with you to discuss how you can change unions.
