Its Time To Unite The Washington DC Capitol Region Security Unions Into One Strong Voice For The Ben

Washington DC - United We Stand for One Strong Voice for the benefit of our members in the Washington DC Capitol Region. Presently there are several small security unions operating in the Washington DC area to date. Each of these security unions are operating independently from one another while dealing with the same employers daily. But what if there was a way to form a coalition of all these independent Washington DC security unions into one strong voice for the benefits of our members? Who would benefit from such a coalition the Employer or the Union membership?

Obviously it would be the Union membership.

With this in mind LEOSU-DC Organizing Director Steve Maritas had the pleasure to meet with and discuss this vision with United Security Officer Association (USOA) Executive Director Ruthie Rouse who was formally the President of the United Union of Security Guards (UUSG).

Both (USOA) Executive Director Ruthie Rouse and Maritas both believe the time has come to unify the industry to better serve the membership and to give all Washington DC security Unions a stronger voice with their employers. Over the next few months we will be meeting with every Washington DC Security Union in hopes they to will join our coalition to unite us all.
