May 14, 2020

The Law Enforcement Officers Security Unions (LEOSU-DC), LEOS-PBA has once again participated in and give Input to Homeland Security Leaders in our Weekly Acquisition Innovation Roundtable meeting today on how we can safely return to the workplace. LEOS-PBA Executive Director Steve Maritas noted " This is not a question but I wish to point out that we have had two of our Protective Security Officers recently died, one in NYC and the other in Washington DC. So, whatever you decide to do you need to make sure our frontline officers have all the necessary PPE available. Masks, Face guards, and sanitizer. We also need to have anyone entering these federal facilities be provided and/or required to wear masks and face guards.

Our Union LEOSU-DC, LEOS-PBA is honored to be recognized by Homeland Security leadership as the true leader of law enforcement and security professionals nationwide in having our Union participate and give input on how we can safely return to workplace. We will continue to attend these high level DHS meetings and give our input ensuring that all law enforcement and security professionals nationwide have their voices heard.

The Law Enforcement Officers Security Unions LEOSU-DC, LEOS-PBA was the only law enforcement / Security Union who attened today's meeting.
