3 Strong 9(b)3 Security Unions Join & Merge Together to Form the United Federation LEOS-PBA


Charles "Chip" Strebeck, President of United Federation of Special Police & Security Officers (UFSPSO) signs merger Agreement solidifying the the birth of the newly formed United Federation LEOS-PBA.

The United Federation LEOS-PBA was officially born on March 1, 2021 when three 9(b)3 security police unions, United Federation of Special Police & Security Officers (UFSPSO), National Union of Special Police Officers (NUSPO), and Law Enforcement Officers Security & Police Benevolent Association LEOS-PBA and its affiliated Unions LEOSU, LEOSU-CA, LEOSU-DC, LEOSU-PI & the National Union of Nuclear Security Officers NUNSO saw the need to come together not only for mutual aid and protection but to give our members a stronger voice at the bargaining table. Everyday our Unions fight for better wages, better benefits, better working conditions. We fight to protect your job security whether it is a write up, suspension or a termination.


Now that we are facing a global pandemic unlike anything we have ever seen in our lifetime our attention must now be focused on making sure our members have the proper PPE equipment needed to protect you and your families and to help stop the spread of COVID-19.

By combining our skills, our experience, our financial resources and our membership the United Federation LEOS-PBA will now have a combined strength of over 5,000 members nationwide, working in every type of security industry such as the Department of Energy, U.S. Federal Courts, Nuclear Facilities, Prisons, Detention Centers, Correctional Facilities, Armored Car, Casinos. Arts and entertainment, Federal, State, and County Buildings, Military Installations, Universities, Hospitals, Public Utilities, Automotive, Airports, Seaports, Homeland Security Facilities, Police Departments and Industry.


As part of this merger Agreement Charles "Chip" Strebeck shall now take the helm as President of the United Federation LEOS-PBA while ShawDawn Prince will now become Vice President and Steve Maritas will now become United Federation LEOS-PBA Organizing Director focusing on organizing new members all across the United States.

All United Federation LEOS-PBA Executive Board members and National union Executive Board members will now assume servicing positions and assist President Strebeck and Vice President Prince in the day to day operation of better servicing our members and their families.
