70 Constellis Security Officers Seek to Join the 305 Triple Canopy Officers @ Ronald Reagan Building
A unit of Constellis Security Officer Professionals working at the EPA Building in Washington D.C. were tired of the lack of service by their present security union. The Officers reached out to our sister Union United Career Professionals (UCP), who took immediate action to help these hard working Security Professionals. The Officers were quick to fill out UCP interest card forms and a petition was filed with the NLRB yesterday 7/8/2021.
Representing the United Career Professionals (UCP), is our law firm Beins, Axelrod & Keating, P.C.
These Constellis Security Officers seek their independence from their current union that for years has failed them. This is just one more Constellis unit where officers seek to rid themselves of the same old union that made BIG promises but delivered NOTHING!
Back in October the United Career Professionals (UCP) was successful in winning their NLRB Union election against this same Union whereby 305 security professionals working for Triple Canopy a Constellis company at the Ronald Regan Building located at 1300 Pennsylvania Avenue NW, Washington D.C. voted to rid themselves from this security union.
Most recently over 1,500 members from several units around the country have left this Union citing poor representation and its failure to service its members. This included Paragon system units in Los Angeles, Orange county, Oakland, San Diego, Riverside, San Bernardino and Imperial counties in California, Ronald Regan building in Washington DC, DC Water in Washington DC, Paragon Systems and Security Walls in New Orleans, LA, Braidwood Nuclear in Illinois, Ginna Nuclear in upstate New York, Trinity College and Connecticut just to name a few. Just recently the members of this particular Union also filed several petitions with the NLRB seeking to remove the Union security clause from their contracts and were successful. This included the security officers working for Paragon systems @ NASA JPL in California, Fiore in California and Meritus in the state of Washington.
On July 1st the Intrepid Museum Security Officers in New York City also filed a petition with the NLRB Seeking to Decertify the same security union as those @ the EPA Building in Washington D.C.
